Club meetings are held in the Trinity Church Hall, Union Road, Deal, Kent, UK [map] at 7:30pm every Wednesday evening through the season (Sept – June). There is ample (free) parking in the nearby public car park [map].

COMPETITION NOTES
Aggregate Competitions
Hand in date for Open and Set Subject competition entries is the preceding Wednesday. All entries must be clearly labelled with your name and either a unique title or number. Please refer to Club Notice Board for any new entry conditions.
Digital Projection.
Images should be sized as follows:
1024 pixels horizontal x 768 pixels vertical
Colour space to be sRGB
Annual Competitions
Hand in date for all competition entries is the preceding Wednesday. You may submit up to 4 entries. The entries should be numbered 1 to 4 in order of preference. The competition will be restricted if the total number of entries is too great to be judged on one night. All entries must be labelled with your name and must have either a unique title or number.
Panel Competition.
Hand in for the Panel competitions is on the preceding Wednesday. Titles are optional.
Panel Prints
You may submit a minimum of 3 and up to a maximum of 10 images. Members are asked to include a clear plan of how to display them. Each image should be labelled with your name

Sets must be marked L for left C for centre R for right
You may submit a maximum of three sets.

SET SUBJECT:
Colour Print

Natural History: For our club competitions a Nature image is restricted to the use of the photographic process to depict observations from all branches of natural history.  Images of animals that are domesticated, caged, or under any form of restraint are ineligible.  Images of cultivated plants and obviously set arrangements are ineligible.  Humans shall not be present.  Any manipulation or modification to the original scene shall be limited to minor retouching of blemishes and must not alter the content of the original scene.

Mono Print
Candid: A Candid image is basically of a person, or group of people, that is natural and un-posed and caught at the unguarded moment.  Children and animals will not be allowed.

Project Digital Image & Slides
Water: Thisis self-explanatory, but avoid a straight seascape.
