Print Appraisal Evening

Our meeting yesterday (Wed 12 Sept 07) was a colour and mono print appaisal evening led by guest appraiser Bea Auger DPAGB.

It was an enjoyable evening and a good number of prints from a cross section of the membership were commented on. Bea provided constructive comment and invited comment and participation from the floor. The comments from the membership were helpful and positive. A good sign of a healthy and happy club atmosphere.

Bea’s personal interests centre on wildlife and landscape and a number of these images did come up and Bea was able to demonstrate her considerable sympathy and understanding of the genres.

Annual Awards for Last (2006/7) Season

We had our first meeting of the new season on Wed 5th Sept 2007. As is our habit, we celebrate our members successes for the previous season by the presentation of the annual awards (listed below).

Thanks to our new President David Longley who presented the awards.

Well done to all members and especially those gaining awards. I am looking forward to another great season.
